** The Woman’s Day Out event was simply outstanding. What a great way to raise awareness and show support for those whose lives have been impacted by Breast Cancer. It is a great way to spend the day; with good food, a wonderful fashion show, shopping and great gospel music.! **

** Jennifer, I wanted to let you know as a vendor how we felt about the Woman's' Day Out Extravaganza this past October. I thought this was an excellent event for women of the south. There were lots of local companies, a lot of bargains, fashion show, entertainment, food, unique designer clothing and so much more. Anyone that came to the show was able to enjoy the entire show!

I believe your show offered its attendees inspiration, resources, and connections to take the next step in business, personal development, health and wellness, or philanthropic endeavors. Your show featured widely respected leaders, talented entertainers, and a marketplace of ideas, exhibits, networking and panel discussions. I really felt the conference was designed to benefit women from all walks of life.

Women in Memphis can definitely benefit from an event like this. Im hoping this event can grow to provide a forum for building successful businesses, strengthening careers, and positively influencing the women in Memphis. Women's Day Out Extravaganza is what we need in Memphis to continue the tradition of empowering women. **

** Woman's Day Out was an epic event!
Memphis was in dire need of something that would minister and edify the whole woman. People came in by droves from near and far. The turn out was phenomenal! The content of the event was well worth my time and I'm looking forward to this event in being held annually.. **

**My name is Tracey Glover and I participated as a fashion jewelry vendor at the “2014 Woman’s Day Out Extravaganza”. The event was held in October during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The atmosphere was filled with encouragement and enlightenment for Breast Cancer Survivors, those still fighting the battle and others dedicated to supporting the cause.

The early-bird portion of the event consisted of a knowledgeable Panel of Guest Speakers who provided information to everyone in attendance about the importance of getting a yearly Mammography or as recommended by your Physician. Remind a friend or family member to do so because it is one of the best preventive measures for any early detection and treatment if needed.

During the afternoon, one could hear the melodious sounds of joyful Gospel Music performed live by several amazing Artists who live right here in our own great city! A large variety of fabulous Vendors were on hand to offer some retail therapy to those in need. Yummy Food Vendors were available throughout the entire day and evening for anyone needing to recharge. Believe it or not, a Play Area was even provided for children accompanied by their parents!

Later that evening, our eyes gazed upon lovely Breast Cancer Survivors who strolled down the runway during a spectacular Fashion Show! WOW, is the only word I can think of to describe the uplifting Choir Competition!

If by chance you were not able to attend the event on last year, I strongly encourage you to attend the “2015 Woman’s Day Out Extravaganza”. Bring a friend! It’s a wonderful opportunity to network and fellowship with others who are committed to spreading the importance of saving and prolonging the lives of women affected by Breast Cancer not only in our community but throughout the world.  **

Community outreach has always been an important part of what we do here at West Cancer Center. Last year we had the privilege of participating in the Woman’s Day Out Extravaganza, where we were able to provide screening and diagnostic mammograms through Komen funding to women of the community who were uninsured or underinsured. At this valuable event, we were also able to offer lung screening and smoking cessation materials. We were honored to participate in this event with an organization that shares our vision to provide education and awareness for early detection and prevention of breast cancer to the community.
